The Bespoke Lighting Design Process
1. Ideas sharing: original design from lighting designer, photos, or hand drawing are the origin for bespoke lighting, as well as specification like wattage, size, material and so on if there is any. The more specific the requirements, the closer the lighting fixtures will be produced.
2. Professional drawing: when the factory get your ideas, they will make the professional drawings for your checking. At the same time, the unit price and tooling cost if any will be given to you.
3. Sample production: for bespoke lighting, due to the speciality, samples are strongly recommend before mass production. Meanwhile, material for each part will be determined before production. The factory will share the material template with required finishing or color for confirmation. The period for sample production including all the steps will take around 30-45 days.
4. Sample submission: when samples are ready, they will be packed in good condition and deliver to the customer’s for confirmation.
5. Mass production: once samples are approval, mass production can be proceeded which is around 45-60 days even longer for some special models.

1.Material confirmation: types of material and finishing/color will be confirmed before samples production or mass production.
2. Package: due to the material of bespoke lighting, especially lighting with glass, crystal, paper or other material easily broken, package is very important as they will be received before long delivery. Due to uncertainty during transportation, the lighting must be protected very good to avoid any damage. Bubble, foam, high grade carton, pallet, wooden box and other material will be applied for good protection.
